Reading Lists & Useful Resources

We encourage students to read and to this end the school council voted for a library in our new building. Students led, designed and chose books for this space and the quotations from John Green and JK Rowling and the reading posters were chosen and put up with the support of the staff team.

Students are encouraged to read a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction and the library has copies of magazines from The Times and The Independent

The most popular books this year among our readers at home have included:

Slated by Teri Terry

Divergent, Insurgent and Allegiant by Veronica Roth

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

Girl Online by Zoe Sugg

The Help by Kathryn Stockett

When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit by Judith Kerr
