GCSE Exam Results
Malden Oaks students performed extremely well this year across a broad range of GCSE subjects.
Of particular note were several 6, 7, 8 and 9 grades achieved across English, Maths, Science, English Literature, Geography and Citizenship.

We reduced our option choices from 4 to 3 this year, to enable students to spend more time on each subject due to the higher amount of content in the new GCSEs. As a consequence the average number of GCSEs per student was lower than last year, at 5.1, but slightly above our predictions.
